HAPcera Type II Hydroxyapatite Chromatography Media

Ceramic hydroxyapatite is a hydroxy compound multimodal chromatography media with significant application value. It features a spherical morphology and an ultra-large pore size. Unlike traditional chromatography media, hydroxyapatite possesses both metal affinity and ion exchange capabilities, offering unique separation performance and providing distinctive and effective purification solutions. Hydroxyapatite chromatography media can be used to purify a wide range of biomolecules, including:

  • Different types of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies

  • Bispecific antibodies and antibody fragments

  • Viral particles

  • Vaccines

  • Recombinant proteins

  • Enzymes

  • Supercoiled DNA, single-stranded or double-stranded DNA

NanoMicro offers three types of hydroxyapatite chromatography media: HAPcera Type I, HAPcera Type II, and HAPcera-D.

HAPcera Type I features a smaller pore size, suitable for the purification of small proteins and monoclonal antibodies;

HAPcera-D features a larger pore size, suitable for the purification of large molecules such as bispecific antibodies and HPV vaccines;

HAPcera Type II features an ultra-large pore size, suitable for the purification of very large biomolecules such as viruses, Ig M, VLP particles, and plasmids.
