UniPS 40-300 Reversed-Phase Polymer Chromatography Resin

NanoMicro offers a comprehensive range of monodisperse reversed-phase polymer resins in various particle sizes and pore sizes. Based on matrix and characteristics, they are available in five series: UniPS®, Uni®PMM, Uni®PSN, Uni®PSA, and NM. These resins are primarily used for laboratory analysis and the separation and purification of organic compounds, natural products, proteins, insulin, peptides, and nucleic acids. With excellent alkaline resistance, long service life, and the ability to eliminate peak tailing of basic compounds, they complement reversed-phase silica resins in separation performance and solvent compatibility.

Figure 1. Chemical structure of UniPS®

UniPS® 40-300 monodisperse reversed-phase polymer resin is based on highly cross-linked polystyrene/divinylbenzene (PS/DVB) (Figure 1). The abundant phenyl groups in the matrix render it highly hydrophobic with strong reversed-phase retention, enabling unique surface modifications and diverse selectivity. The high cross-linking density provides excellent mechanical strength and chemical stability, allowing operation under high pressure, medium/high-pressure DAC packing, and resistance to extreme acidic or alkaline pH and mixed organic solvent regeneration.

Compared to similar products on the market, UniPS® 40-300 offers the following advantages:

  • Narrower particle size distribution: CV ≤ 3%;

  • High mechanical strength: highly cross-linked PS/DVB matrix for enhanced pressure resistance; withstands repeated high-pressure DAC packing without breakage;

  • Long service life: corrosion-resistant, contamination-resistant, easy to regenerate, and cost-effective;

  • Excellent chemical stability: suitable for separation and purification across pH 1-14.
