NMPeptide 2-CTC Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis Resin
Product Description
2-CTC resin is commonly used for Fmoc-based peptide synthesis. The 2-CTC linker is acid-labile and moisture-sensitive. Its advantage lies in the fact that loading the first amino acid does not require pre-activation, which can avoid side reactions such as racemization.
After synthesis, cleavage can be performed using AcOH/TFE/DCM or low-concentration TFA to obtain fully side-chain-protected peptide fragments. This resin is particularly suitable for the synthesis of peptides containing C-terminal cysteine, histidine, methionine, tyrosine, and proline residues.
The NMPeptide series of solid-phase peptide synthesis resins offers the following advantages:
High synthesis efficiency: The resin has a uniform particle size distribution and uniform functional group distribution, providing good reactivity that accelerates the coupling of amino acids to the growing peptide chain, thereby improving synthesis efficiency.
Good chemical stability: It swells well in non-polar solvents. During synthesis, the resin maintains chemical stability, reducing impurity generation.
High mechanical strength: It withstands various physical and chemical stresses during synthesis, maintaining resin integrity.
