Phenylboronic Acid Affinity Pre-packed Column

Phenylboronic acid affinity chromatography leverages the covalent coordination between boronic acid and cis-diol compounds for separation and purification. Under alkaline conditions, boronic acid groups form stable five-membered ring complexes with cis-diol structures, enabling specific adsorption of glycosylated proteins. Under acidic conditions, the complexes dissociate, and glycoproteins are eluted. Additionally, boronate affinity media can be used for the purification of cis-diol-containing compounds such as nucleosides, nucleotides, and saccharides.

Product Description

NanoMicro phenylboronic acid pre-packed columns utilize monodisperse rigid hydrophilic PMMA matrices. High ligand density delivers high dynamic binding capacity. Leveraging the specific reversible binding between phenylboronic acid and cis-diols, our columns efficiently purify plasmids, glycoproteins, and nucleoside polysaccharides. They offer high flow rates with low back pressure, resistance to repeated alkaline CIP, minimal ligand leakage, and low non-specific adsorption. Mild elution conditions protect nucleic acid/glycoprotein integrity. Our fully domestic, self-developed industrial chain is tailored for CGT industrial-scale production.
