Product Description

The NmTRAP Series PP empty columns are designed for rapid resin screening during early-stage chromatography process development. They accommodate a wide range of chromatography resins commonly used in purification labs, including polymer-based hard gels (PS-DVB, PMMA, etc.) and polysaccharide-based soft gels (agarose, dextran, etc.), for downstream purification of peptides, proteins, antibodies, nucleic acids, and polysaccharides.

Featuring an innovative inner chamfer design, combined with piston interference fit and threaded cap, the NmTRAP Series PP columns deliver a higher pressure limit (see table below). They are suitable for low- to medium-pressure chromatography, meeting the high linear flow rate requirements of small- and medium-particle-size media while preventing piston loosening or ejection under pressure—a common issue with traditional pre-packed columns.
